The Buzbee Law Firm filed suit in Texas against Roc Nation, Jay-Z’s law firm Quinn Emanuel, and attorney Marcy Croft. The defendants sought dismissal based on lack of personal jurisdiction, and the court agreed. While dismissed in Texas, the court noted the claims could potentially be refiled elsewhere.
