Family of Houston Wife and Restauranteur Killed in Apparent Murder-Suicide Files Suit

The parents of Thy Mitchell, co-owner of Houston’s Traveler’s Table restaurant, have filed a wrongful death lawsuit following the May murder-suicide that claimed the lives of Thy, her two young children, and husband Matthew Mitchell. The lawsuit seeks to hold Matthew Mitchell’s estate and certain family members civilly liable while also pursuing recovery of assets allegedly transferred before the killings.
