Families of four women killed in a Nov. 5 crash on U.S. 87 near Dalhart filed a wrongful-death suit in Bexar County naming H-E-B, the truck driver and two carrier companies. The complaint alleges the 18-wheeler hauling H-E-B goods struck the women’s disabled vehicle from behind, causing fatal injuries. Plaintiffs seek damages for loss of companionship, funeral costs, mental anguish and other losses.
